The low deck and ladder provide easy access to a sandy-bottom swim area about 4- to 5-feet deep (NO DIVING). If bringing your boat, nearby Mackey's Marina offers slips and a boat ramp. The closest wildlife ramps are Roanoke River at Highway 45, Connaby Creek, and Plymouth.This part of the Albemarle Sound offers excellent fishing ground for white perch, rock, ba
