Located in Pojoaque, New Mexico, United States. El Caracol Court 15 mins North Of Santa Fe! Welcome! Our home is on a two acre lot nestled in the beautiful Nambe Valley, just outside of Santa Fe. It was built by renowned local architect Allen McNown, and his son Mark, whose family lived here for four decades. "Caracol" is spanish for "snail" which is the shape the house was built by McNown made out of adobe, lava rock, and wood from the area. It is a special house with a lot of history, and borders the Pojoaque Creek which is a tributary for the Rio Grande 10 miles away. The house has a very unique, curved feel due to the spiral theme. A one of a kind home with nearly 4,000 sqft of living space for large groups. Cell signals are very iffy outside of Santa Fe (and sometimes within), so do take a picture of the map and front gate before driving out here.
