Peters. Mark piloted the paddlewheeler Hiawatha, on the Mississippi River and gave guided tours on Lake Pepin. This is how the bedrooms came to be named. The Mississippi Room consists of a vintage style queen bed, electric fireplace and a private balcony. The Lake Pepin Room has a vintage style queen size bed and electric fireplace. The bedrooms have ceiling fans. In addition to the electric fireplaces and ceiling fans, the home has forced air heat and central air. Robes, towels, a shower mat and an extra blanket have been conveniently placed in each bedroom closet. The bathroom is conveniently located next to the bedrooms on the second level.
