The house is an excellent starting point for travel by auto to the recreational playground of Lake George (5 min), Saratoga Race Track & Casino (30 min), winter sports at Gore Mt (25 min), Americade Motorcycle Event (2 blocks), World's Largest Garage Sale (2 blocks), and unlimited hiking , biking, and all water sports. Additionally there are many great golf courses nearby, or you can launch a canoe, kayak, or yourself into the Schroon River from the lengthy waterfront yard, if fishing from the riverbank is not enough effort!
