After the house was finished, we loved it SO much we decided to keep it as a second home. We live in Phoenix and it is just a drive away to everything a big city isn't. We come up often and have met so many new friends. Durango is a low key, and easy going town. We initially thought it was just great for winter sports but the summer is a best kept secret. The weather during the summer is warm and sunny with more outdoor choices of things to do than you will have time for in a week. The winter provides one of the best family ski resorts across the street.
