Set in the foot hills of the blue ridge mountains, the cottage is nestled on a three acre lot of hardwood forest with most trees surpassing 60 feet tall. You will see plenty of maples, oaks, poplars, sour wood, cedars, pines and Mountain Laurel (a wild bush that burst into flowers during spring time). The wrap around deck has gates at all exits which is a great safety feature for small children and inquisitive pets. Located in Riverbend, a gated community, you will have access to a private beach where you can enjoy swimming, canoeing or a have a picnic next to the beach.
