After the flooding of the Yellowstone River, people were not able to access the park from this side. The Park Service did an amazing job of building a road that bypasses the canyon that was destroyed by flood waters. If you are looking for an affordable "glamping" spot - this is it! The Bird House (BH) is a cute apartment above an art studio/workshop in the beautiful Paradise Valley - 30 minutes from Yellowstone. IMPORTANT - the guest house does NOT HAVE AN INDOOR SHOWER. It has 12 steps to access the space. We do have a gorgeous outdoor shower. We also are only 8 minutes from Chico Hot Springs and we offer our guests Chico tokens (one per person/one time only) for the natural hot springs pool and shower.
