It is located just over a mile from beautiful Tannery Falls in the Savoy State forest. It is a good home base from which to do area hiking as well as day trips to area attractions in the Berkshires. The house has a large combined living room and fully-equipped kitchen with cathedral ceilings. Both bedrooms look out on the woods - one with a queen bed and one with a double bed. The bedroom with the double bed has a screened in porch. The spacious bathroom has a stand-up shower and a 2-person jacuzzi tub. There is a hiking trail and wetlands in the woods behind the house. The house is also located across from Starseed Healing Sanctuary and Holistic Retreat Center, which has a number of trails and interesting spots to visit such as a peace labyrinth.For cold weather stays, please note that the primary source of heat is wood stove.
