Our home is a peaceful retreat to conveniently enjoy the culture of Taos, adventure of the mountains, and access to the Rio Grande. This is a classic New Mexico home with adobe walls, kiva fireplace, vigas, tile floors, and arched doorways. 10 minutes to Taos, 15 min to Taos Ski valley, and 15 min to Rio Grande Gorge Bridge. Great location to access winter skiing and summer hiking, including Wheeler Peak. Expansive mtn. views from front patio and sunset valley views from back deck.There is a front patio with an outdoor dining table and views overlooking the mountains. There is a back deck with a small table and chairs, which overlooks the valley and provides beautiful sunset views. The house stays a few degrees cooler in the summer than Taos because it is a higher elevation. Inside the house, the living room is a great place to relax after hiking or skiing. We have a kiva fireplace to get warm by the wood fire.
