The Hillsborough River has a wonderful community of birds, fish, manatees, dolphins, and boaters and you can take it all in from your private patio overlooking the river. Bring your kayak or canoe for direct access to the river. Paddle down to Rick's on the River, Ulele Restaurant or Downtown Tampa. One of the best ways to see the river is by hopping on the Pirate Water Taxi that picks up at Armature Works, a 5 min drive from the house... you can hop on and off at various stops along the Tampa Riverwalk like Ulele, the Sail Pavilion, and Curtis Hixon Park, all while taking in the beautiful river and downtown views.
