We renovated every inch of the house but retained the Shaker details: wide board pine floors, peg board, even the paint colors are those approved by the Shakers. The house is elegant, yet comfortable. Five en-suite bedrooms, a sitting room, family room, and professional kitchen abound with creative touches and overlook a pond, waterfall, historic ruins, meadows, woods, and perennial gardens.
