The price is on the lower side due to the outdated nature of the home and carpets.The lodge is very cozy even a large 2700sqft and makes a great place for multiple families to get together before and after hitting the slopes at Cataloochee, any number of hiking locations or other events around the region.4x4 is recommended, m+s tires also recommended on two drive vehicles during the winter and wet months. 4x4’s only across the driveway bridge if there is an accumulation of snow on the ground or it significant accumulation of snow is possible.-no shoes inside-no cats-dogs feet must be wiped off before entering and brushed out before arriving at the lodge-bring your own firewood if using the wood stove, also utilize one creosote cleaning log with your first and last fire if burning continuously-clean wood stove ashes before departing
