You can walk to the beach if you want! I used to walk there every morning to watch the sunrise...absolutely gorgeous! Rockport-Fulton holds a special place in my heart, it was were I was raised! Unfortunately, I didn' t realize what a special place it was until I grew up and moved away. Now we come back every chance we get!! A little about how the house came to be and how/why it has a unique name. My mother always wanted a log cabin, but we lived on the coast. Dad decided he was going to build her the dream home she had always wanted. It is in the middle of 9 city lots so you have lots of room to spread out. Dad was a western fan and our last name was Barta so he named the property Bartarosa (Ponderosa). My Dad passed in 2007 and Hurricane Harvey hit in 2017, Mom didn’t want to rebuild.
