Our rustic getaway is a wonderfully located family retreat with abundant wildlife around (moose, fox, bear, elk, deer). The cabin is a couple minute walk from Columbine Lake and a five minute drive to historic Grand Lake village or Rocky Mountain National Park. Visiting Estes Park is a nice day trip via a scenic drive through rocky mountain national park on trail ridge road.Grand Lake and the surrounding area has plenty to do in all seasons. Choose from golfing, boating, hiking, wildlife viewing, four-wheeling, shopping or just relaxing on the deck or by the campfire. In the winter, snowmobiling is unbelievable (with forest trail access directly from our cabin) and skiing is nearby (cross-country skiing at the Grand Lake Nordic Center just outside our neighborhood, Granby Ranch about 20 minutes away or winter park about 40 minutes away.)The cabin is rustic and sleep space has been maximized.
