Our smoke free lake house is situated very close to downtown Lake Placid, where you will find grocery stores, pharmacies, restaurants, thrift shops, spas, barbers which are less than 5 minutes from US highway 27 and no more than 7 minutes from our home.*Please be advised that this area have "blind mosquitos" (aquatic midges) they do not bite or carry disease but can be a bit pesky at times.
