It is situated on the “Quiet Side” of Acadia National Park, and offers easy access to hiking, kayaking and biking. Within walking distance of 3 different ponds and hikes up Western Mountain and Little Notch, you won’t even have to get in your car to experience the beauty that this area has to offer. The cottage is within 10 miles drive of Bass Harbor Lighthouse, hikes on Wonder Land and Ships Harbor and the cozy Year round village of Southwest Harbor. My home was originally built in 1896, and although not perfect (let’s face it, most houses have their quirks), offers a cozy retreat for couples or two friends wishing to explore the area. I have lots of amenities that are listed, but this year I will also be adding a whole house generator, so you can enjoy your stay and never have worry about being without power.Originally from Galway Irel
