Barton Memorial Hospital and Medical Center is 2.8 milesPublic transportation center is 1 1/2 blocks from our house on the main highway, South Lake Tahoe Blvd, in front of the VISITOR CENTER office. The VISITOR CENTER office provides free travel information, maps, brochures and coupon books to local attractions and dining. There are several restaurants, cafe's, liquor store, and bike rental shop just a block and a half down the street on the main highway.
