At low tide you can take a left and walk (or swim!) along the beach two hundred yards to the Belfast Boathouse, jump onto the Belfast Harbor Walk path running along Steamboat Landing Park (where there is live music every Thursday summer evening!) then to Heritage Park with its food and ice cream trucks, and on to Main St and downtown Belfast. All in less than 1/2 mile. Or, turn right at low tide and walk or swim all the way to City Park with it's playground, pickleball, tennis, and basketball courts, public swimming pool, grills... This is literally the
