We are very near Washington Park and the Monarch butterfly sanctuary.Our home is renowned for its natural history attributes and educational experience. Genuine fossils and minerals are tastefully displayed throughout the entire house, including the bathrooms. Everything from dinosaur bones, to fossil fish, to trilobites, to local fossil crabs, as well as many other specimens, are right in front of you! Your hosts are artists, naturalists, paleontologists, and guidebook authors. We have display cases filled with exotic fossils, minerals, and crystal specimens - most of which we excavated ourselves.
