The cabin sits atop a slope down to the lake with a perfectly placed, picturesque fire-pit overlooking the lake. The stairs to the lake are lit with woodsy light posts that guide you down to the sandy shoreline dock and dry boathouse. Disclaimer—the stairs are much steeper than moderate, but not a cliff, there is a railing to assist. Anyone with trouble going up/downstairs, please be advised. On the lake you'll find great fishing (largemouth bass & crappie, plus plenty blue gill, perch and Northern Pike ). You can also explore the lake and its offshoots with the paddle boat, 2 kayaks or rowboat with 55lb trolling motor, which are all included with your stay and can be found in the dry boathouse.
