It was part of a group of houses built in the 1930's in this area of Vilano Beach. Originally a fishing village, the area was constructed by an aviator named Reiss, a colleague of Charles Lindbergh and founder of the St. Augustine airport. Used by military families during WWII (a German spy occupied one of these cottages), it later became a motel called the Pagoda. You'll love the natural beauty of the still-unspoiled area of North Florida.
