Working waterfront views in a quintessential Maine harbor town Our house is located on the “quiet side” of Mount Desert Island with gorgeous water views of Bass Harbor and a working waterfront. The sunsets are spectacular; just ask all the folks that pull up to take pictures! The house has plenty of room to spread out and to entertain with an open concept living space that includes sunroom, dining space and kitchen. The front lawn is perfect for a barbecue or to just relax and watch the boats come in and out of the harbor. We are close to Acadia National Park and on the free, seasonal bus route. Steps away from the Swans Island Ferry. Your leashed, well-behaved pets are welcome.
