About this property

Located in McCall, Idaho, United States. LAKEFRONT CABIN, PRIVATE BEACH, DOCK AND HOT TUB If you are looking to step back in time and have all the luxuries and amenities afforded by a classic McCall lakefront cabin, then look no further than Inertia Inn. Located in the very desirable area of Sylvan Beach, the cabin was originally one of the many cabins used during the filming of Northwest Passage that was shot in McCall in the late 1930's and starred Spencer Tracy. The present owner's family purchased the cabin in 1947 after the previous owner's wife had a late night sighting of our local “sea monster,” Sharlie! The cabin has remained in the same family ever since, although it has been winterized and modernized several times over the years! Sitting on the west shore of Payette Lake and looking back on the city of McCall, the Inertia Inn sleeps ten in the main house and, during the spring, summer, and fall months sleeps two additional people in the private “Wigwam” for a total of 12 people in beds.
