The original farmhouse was built in 1790, as you can see, the old fireplace dates that far back. In 2006 we added 3,000 square feet. We opened up the first floor into one large loft-like space that overlooks the forest, the streams, and has a wrap around porch, as well as a deck. The open kitchen has a large farm table for casual meals, and the dining room has a long hand hewn table that seats ten. There are two living rooms, one with a TV screen, and the old fireplace, the other has two large linen sofas and a wood burning stove. All spaces are open and connected with easy access to the outside spaces. Upstairs are three large bedrooms for your use, with three bathrooms. The house is light, open, and airy, but also very cozy.
