The Starling at Pond Eddy, Cottage Although The Starling at Pond Eddy retains much of its late 1800’s historic charm, the buildings have been upgraded with modern amenities like central air conditioning and heat. The Cottage is a private residence with its own gated front yard and porch. In addition, this space has a newly renovated bathroom, spacious dining room, and wood burning stove. Fire pits are located behind both buildings for roasting marshmallows (and ghost stories). A shared propane grill is also available for guests to use during the spring/summer months.Each bedroom is outfitted with memory foam mattresses and hypoallergenic bed and pillow covers. The pillows are down-alternative and hypoallergenic with 100% cotton covers. The soft garment washed sheets and duvet covers are also 100% cotton.
