He thoughtfully designed the house to be like a ship sailing off into the enormous span of the Shinnecock Bay and into the inlet where the ocean dramatically rushes into the bay. The house is serene , filled with the magical light from the sea. A wooden staircase leads down from the front lawn to the bay for a sunset view if you can manage to leave the beautifully appointed home which features a hot tub on the deck, fine art on the walls and everything you need for a BBQ.
