The house is just north of Sister Bay on an inlet of Lake Michigan called Rowleys Bay. This unique setting allows for rest and relaxation and the only noise you hear may be from the laughter of friends and family playing games, grilling, kayaking on Rowleys Bay or the Mink River, biking or gazing at the Milky Way while toasting marshmallows over the fire pit near the marina. We have had many wonderful guests over the past 30 years. Our log home was built in 1984 with hand-hewn logs from the surrounding woods. As you enter the home with beams and walls covered in wood from an 1820's barn you begin to feel the stresses of everyday life melt away. The soaring 24 ft cathedral ceiling and grand stone fireplace welcome you into the family/dining area and the adjacent wall of windows looks out at the surrounding wilderness where deer, raccoons, squirrels and b
