Tarpley Guesthouse/Hill Country/Private Pool This charming cottage is nestled in the Texas Hill Country town of Tarpley and just a two minute walk from the famous Mac and Ernies Roadside Eatery which has been featured on the Food Channel, Southern Living and Texas Monthly.This guesthouse is a great base camp for short trips to Lost Maples State Park, the Hill Country State Natural Area, Garner State Park and Bandera.You can also take a short walk from the house to the crystal clear waters of Williams Creek. The cottage is bright and cheery with an open living, dining and kitchen area. The kitchen offers top of the line stainless steel appliances and a breakfast bar. The bedroom which opens on to the front porch has lovely antique pieces and a Queen bed. The large bath has a tub with shower and there is a nook with a washer and dryer. All of the interior walls and hardwood floors are lovingly restored reclaimed wood dating back to the 1870s. This is really a couple’s hideaway. There is
