It is the closest proximity to Charlotte of any lake in NC. In 20 minutes you can be downtown and 15 minutes to the airport! There are fabulous restaurants, shopping and other amenities within a 10 minute drive. We have a fully stocked kitchen with all the cookware wine glasses etc that you will need for your stay. The 180 degree lake view oriented due west provides some exquisitely dramatic sunsets. You can relax and unwind while you watch amazing scenery from the patio, the covered porch, hammock or dock. The house has tongue and grove wood paneling throughout, even on the ceilings of the den and dining room. It has recently been updated, but the original "lake cabin" feel has been kept.
