This historic landmark was built by early German settlers next to a famous General Herkimer Home in the middle of Mohawk Valley between Little Falls and Fort Plain. We are situated on the top of the hill amidst vast valleys and meadows. Our Bed & Breakfast conveniently located in close proximity to New York State Thruway, Cooperstown, Herkimer Diamond Minds,Ommegang Brewery, Erie Canal,Saratoga Springs,Turning Stone Casino, multiple amusement and water parks, Howe Cavern and many many other tourists attractions. Our neighbors include Amish settlers from Pennsylvania; it is not unusual to see a horse and buggy on the local roads. We also are surrounded by friendly farmers who raise cows and sheep, corn and grains, and more.
