Though the property is secluded and private, it is just a short 5-minute walk to Mirror Lake, Lake Placid, and all of Lake Placid's shops and restaurants. It is also situated a short distance from the Whiteface Mountain Shuttle and a quick car ride to hundreds of miles of wilderness trails perfect for hiking, snowshoeing, etc. The house is tastefully furnished and features a large, well-appointed kitchen and eating area, an outdoor deck with picnic table and grill, 3 fireplaces, a giant picture window, multiple televisions, king and queen size beds, a bunk room for kids, laundry, and free Wi-Fi.
