Unlike all other area rentals, our special cabin rests on a private, posted, and gated 135-acre wooded property 3 miles from the slopes of Whiteface Mountain, a very scenic, 20-minute drive to busy Lake Placid, and just minutes from the West Branch of the Ausable River, one of the east's most renown trout streams. Miles of marked trails for jogging, biking, hiking, X-country skiing and snowshoeing begin right at your doorstep! Snowshoeing amid acres of snow laden cedars will be a memory you will long remember. The cabin is 1,200' from the road to assure peace and quiet. The 2,750' Winch Mt. provides breathtaking views and is directly behind the cabin. Our cabin has two bedrooms each with a very comfortable king size bed that can be converted into two twin beds upon request, a spacious bathroom, and a large kitchen/d
