It faces south with a lovely water view and summer breeze. One can hear the reversing falls at all times except high tide when you can slip over the falls and kayak in the completely conserved natural area, the largest salt marsh on the island. There you may see Bald Eagles, Osprey nests, Herons, Eiders, Guillemots, Kingfishers and other birds in this area. You may leave kayaks or rowing shells on the shore.
